Legacy illustrations

Below are the previously used illustrations contracted and provided by an outside agency. There was little excitement around these, and needed to be reinvented to convey the company’s image as a tech-forward.

Ideation

When creating the new style, there were a few things that I set out to accomplish:

I wanted to make the style contemporary and have a feeling of technology meets finance
I wanted it to be simple and approachable in the execution of illustrations and motion so any designer could create it.
I wanted to create an impactful style that would be friendly to Lottie files for quick load times; this would mean using no people.

Proof of concept of the new style

After honing in on the look and feel, I created this as the talk-to piece and began showing it off. There were additional follow-up illustrations to round out the style fully.
